Frequently Asked Questions

How do I begin the adoption process?

We start by getting to know you. Please fill out our initial inquiry form so we can understand your home environment and lifestyle. Once reviewed, we'll schedule a call to discuss available kittens and our upcoming litters.

Are your breeding cats health-tested?

Absolutely. Health is our primary concern. All our Maine Coon and British Longhair/Shorthair parents undergo rigorous genetic testing for breed-specific conditions like HCM, PKD1, ALPS and rdAc ensuring we continue a healthy, strong heritage.

What is the difference in care between breeds?

While both are affectionate, Maine Coons require more grooming due to their size and coat density. British Shorthairs are typically more laid back, while British Longhairs enjoy a balance of structured play and regular brushing sessions.

When can my kitten leave for their new home?

Kittens are ready to go to their forever homes at 12 weeks of age. By this time, they have been fully socialized, received their full course of vaccinations, are microchipped, and have been vet-checked at least twice.

What do I need to prepare before delivery?

We will provide a kitten pack including their favorite toys, food for the first week, and a scent blanket. You should have a sturdy scratching post, a litter box, and high-quality ceramic or glass water bowls ready.
